In this short video, Lucy Hopwood from the NNFCC interviews Peter, a rapeseed farmer who talks about the process of extracting pure oil from rapeseed for culinary, industrial and fuel uses. The moisture content of the seed is measured at each stage of the processes and finally the filtered oil is stored ready for transportation. Peter discusses the costs and profits of the project.

The mathematics involves percentages, decimals, proportion, and money, volume and weight.
